Funny how life gets really, really busy when you are a parent of two beautiful children, working full time and in the middle of the reno from h*ll!!! Oh well I still have a job, the renovation is coming to a close, the children are still beautiful and I am still married to the most wonderful man on the face of the earth!! WOW am I lucky or what!! January is always a time to reflect on our past year and the one thing I noticed is that we we had a great year but it certainly was not one where we stopped to smell the roses. It seemed rush, rush, rush and this is something I am looking to change in this New Year! I want to spend more time with family, with friends and with my wonderful travel mates and extended family that we met on our two trips to China. I also hope to have a chance to do more interesting things with the kids, stop worrying about the housework, it will always be there, and just have more FUN!!! With that in mind we hosted a post holiday celebration last night with our close friends the Lees, Ross' and Carrolls. We cooked a 31.5 pound turkey (YUP 31.5 pounds!!!!) and let the kids go wild!! It was a great night and we look forward to many more in 2011. I am posting some random pictures from the past year, a year in review if you will....ENJOY!!!! Here is to a great New Year!
